What you will be doing: You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day to day will include talking and interacting with service users, supporting, encouraging, and motivating
them with all aspects of their recovery and treatment goals, such as daily living tasks, community involvement etc, carrying out duties allocated by the MDT, updating patient records, responding to incidents, supporting mealtimes, ensuring a clean and safe environment., As a Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare, you'll be an integral part of the team at Ballington House in Leek, experiencing what delivering exceptional healthcare truly entails. You'll join a supportive team dedicated to caring for people with various mental health conditions, using your expertise to guide them on their recovery journey. Daily responsibilities include engaging with service users, motivating them towards achieving their recovery objectives, and assisting with daily living tasks and community involvement. You will also update patient records, manage incidents, and ensure a safe, clean environment. During your shifts, which may include nights and weekends, you'll support an experienced multi-disciplinary team. It's a challenging but immensely rewarding role where your contributions will visibly enhance lives.
