Healthcare Assistant

This role is responsible for providing clinical support to the Consultants and Medical Staff of DHC. The successful applicant would cover a wide variety of clinic specialities, gaining experience in many areas. They will also hold nurse-led clinics, such as conducting Spirometry, FeNO, taking blood pressures, applying Holter cardiac monitoring devices and height and weight measurements. Our regular hours of work could be between 07:45 and 21:45 Monday to Friday, and Saturday 08:00-18:00. Saturday shifts are shared within the nursing team. The nursing team consists of 12 people, with a mixture of registered nurses and healthcare assistants.

We hold clinics across 5 locations, and the ability to drive and to have your own means of transportation would be highly beneficial. The preference of sites will be discussed at the interview., The ideal applicant will have excellent attention to detail, computer literacy, the ability to maintain confidentiality, confidence to speak up when acting as a chaperone, the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Have a can-do attitude and be an effective team worker. No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
