Full Job Description
- be involved in supporting the daily activities of our residents, ensuring a person-centred approach is undertaken at all times
- assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
- have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care. Whether you are accompanying a resident to a dentist appointment, completing a care plan document, assisting a resident to have a shower, reading the morning newspaper to a resident, or assisting someone to have breakfast, you should do so with care and kindness.
You should be compassionate and understanding, good written and verbal communication, and some basic IT skills. A full induction programme and training is provided. This job is varied, interesting and very rewarding., If you are enthusiastic, have a caring nature, a natural interest in people and want to make a difference to someone's life, then this might be just the job for you. We have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Fordingbridge care home. Glynn Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 31 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs.
