Full Job Description

  • Phlebotomy
  • Long term condition health checks
  • NHS health checks
  • ECG recording
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Chaperoning duties
  • Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses
  • Equipment re-stocking, stock rotation including clinical waste removal in line with IPC practice policy
  • Prepare, maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care including assisting GPs during minor procedures
  • Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
  • Participate in training to meet the needs of the practice

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, flexible, and reliable HCA to support the practice nursing team in the delivery of care within their scope of practice.
    • The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure., We are a small friendly GP Practice based in Seacroft, East Leeds, who are looking for an experienced individual with a can-do attitude and a positive approach.
