- Genuine interest and desire to work in Secure Services within Specialism
- Vocational qualification at level 2 or equivalent relevant experience (e.g.GCSE grade 9-4)
- Prepared to study and complete Level 3 qualification (equivalent to A Level/BTEC National level)
- Understanding of basic health care issues.
- Computer literate, and able to use a range of Microsoft Office programmes. Standard keyboard skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining effective working relationships and mitigating conflict.
- Good understanding of confidentiality. Desirable criteria
- Experience of work in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Holds relevant Health Care certificate or working towards this (e.g. Care Course)
- Knowledge or experience of working within a prison or secured environment setting
- Good patient assessment skills - knowledge of signs and symptoms of a range of mental and physical disorders and its effects on individuals.

You will need a good level of communication skills, be a team player and provide high standards of care to patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner. If you have NVQ level 3 and a good level of care experience, then we could have the perfect job for you.,
