With dedicated teaching professionals across a variety of subject areas, we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Lecturer to join our team based at our Scarborough campus. About the role The successful candidate will deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching that supports learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours needed in health and social care. The role includes planning and assessing a range of units, providing clear feedback, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to curriculum development. You will model professional standards, support learners pastorally, uphold safeguarding and equality practices, and participate in quality assurance and ongoing CPD to keep your expertise current. About the person The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of Health and Social Care, including underpinning scientific principles, current sector practices, and relevant industry experience. They will be able to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners, using a variety of teaching strategies to support different learning needs and abilities. Excellent communication, organisation, and assessment skills are essential, along with the ability to monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback that supports achievement and development. You will be a supportive, professional, and reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge. Passionate about education and learner success, you will be dedicated to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages learners to reach their full potential and progress confidently into further study or employment within the health and social care sector.
