This role would suit candidates with experience in Adult Care as a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager or an existing Health & Social Care Assessor The RoleWe're recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners working towards apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings.You will support, coach and assess learners, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to successfully
complete their programme.You will work with learners across Taunton and surrounding areas, combining remote delivery with planned workplace visits.You will manage your own diary and workload to meet key performance targets and ensure learner progress.No learner sourcing is required - all learners are provided, allowing you to focus on delivery, coaching and assessment.This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagementDeliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standardsConduct workplace observations to assess practical competencyReview learner work and provide timely, constructive feedbackSupport learners with Functional Skills (Maths & English) where requiredPrepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)Monitor learner progress and ensure
