Full Job Description
- Supporting Care Home and Richmond Village Managers with day-to-day health & safety advice
- Carrying out audits and monitoring compliance with internal policies and legislation
- Investigating incidents and completing reportable injury investigations within agreed timescales
- Supporting the implementation of effective control measures following risk assessments
- Producing clear, factual written reports and escalating risks where appropriate
- Contributing to H&S campaigns, policy reviews, and continuous improvement activity
- Working closely with Learning & Development and the wider People team
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) with experience in a practical health & safety role - Confidence working independently across multiple sites and competing priorities
- Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and best practice
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence, advise, and challenge constructively without direct authority
- A practical, organised, and professional approach to health & safety
