Full Job Description
As a Health & Safety Manager, you help keep colleagues safe every day. You lead health and safety activity across your site or area, making sure systems are effective, risks are controlled and standards are followed. You work closely with site leaders, Engineering, Operations and People teams to build a strong safety culture. You are a visible leader who supports others, challenges when needed and helps teams do the right thing.,
- Leading the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and management systems.
- Driving a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and supporting managers and teams to fulfil their HSE responsibilities.
- Monitoring HSE performance, identifying trends and implementing improvement plans.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring effective corrective actions.
- Maintaining compliance with environmental permits and ISO 14001 standards.
- Managing internal and external audits, inspections and customer requirements.
- Acting as the key contact for regulators, enforcement agencies, customers and emergency services on HSE matters.

You'll bring the following skills and experience: - You'll bring significant HSE experience gained within manufacturing, ideally food manufacturing or FMCG
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 Health & Safety qualification).
- IOSH Membership, ideally Chartered (CMIOSH).
- Proven experience developing and implementing HSE management systems.
- A strong track record of driving behavioural change and improving safety culture.
- Experience managing audits, inspections and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
