Health & Safety Manager

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE You'll be the go-to expert for all things Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), helping us build a safe, compliant, and continuously improving workplace. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day SHE support and advice to ensure full compliance with statutory legislation.
• Working in partnership with, and influencing, all operational teams and senior management across the site
• Meeting annual SHE objectives, measured through our performance management system.
• Supporting the wider SHE function in delivering the business plan
• Coordinating and driving SHE initiatives, ensuring safety is embedded in every process and every team.
  
  NEBOSH General Certificate
• COMAH experience/knowledge would be desirable but not essential
• Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven capability to develop and deliver improvement plans
• Experience of building strong customer relationships
• Strong previous experience/support of external audits
