Full Job Description
We're looking for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join our team and play a key role in helping our Health, Safety and Estates Directorate meet essential regulatory requirements and provide support to the business on a 12 month fixed term contract., As part of the Health and Safety Team, and working closely with our Security Team, you will provide crucial administrative support, coordinate key safety processes, and assist with reporting and planning. You'll ensure smooth operations across our safety systems and play an important part in supporting our compliance and operational objectives.,
- Coordinate and administer health surveillance medical bookings, including reporting on outcomes
- Administer the Peoplesafe Nexus lone working system and support other business systems as required
- Assist in compiling and writing reports for the Security Team
- Support the coordination of physical security exercises
- Provide flexible support to the wider Health, Safety and Estates Directorate as needed
We're looking for someone with a strong administrative background, excellent written communication skills, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools-particularly Word and Excel. You'll be someone who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and engage confidently with colleagues across departments., Proven ability to interpret site inspections and convert findings into clear, formal reports - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in writing practical and succinct reports
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

- Salary £30,000 per annum
- Hybrid role, with the expectations of a minimum two days a week in the office in Hatfield
- Annual leave from 26 days rising with length of service, and the option to purchase up to 5 extra days.
