Health and Safety Advisor - Estates, Facilities & Capital

Are you ready to be the driving force behind a safer, smarter, more proactive safety culture? We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to support our Estates & Facilities teams.You will provide expert advice, lead risk reduction initiatives, support construction and contractor safety, and promote a proactive safety culture across the division. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with Estates, Facilities and Capital Project Managers to ensure safe systems of work, effective risk management, and continual improvement. You'll make a direct impact by helping keep our colleagues, patients and visitors safe every day., Your role will include:

• Provide specialist H&S advice in line with legislation, regulations and Trust policies.
• Lead on risk assessments, inspections and the implementation of control measures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Support construction projects, ensuring contractor compliance and safe working practices.
• Deliver engaging H&S training, guidance and awareness sessions.
• Coordinate quarterly KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
• Support the Trust's PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) health and safety management framework., people and vulnerable adults.
