Full Job Description

As a Health & Safety Advisor at Hyde, you will support the Health and Safety Manager in providing practical advice, assurance and guidance to help the organisation meet its statutory and regulatory duties. You will carry out investigations, audits and inspections, support managers across the business, and maintain effective health and safety systems, records and communications.,

  • Support the planning, delivery and review of Hyde's annual health and safety plan, policies and procedures.
  • Carry out assurance inspections and audits across the business, including Hyde's Direct Labour Organisation operations.
  • Provide practical advice, coaching and training updates to managers, including safety talks and toolbox talks.
  • Support incident management by logging incidents, assisting with investigations, reporting findings and sharing lessons learned.
  • Administer lone-worker devices and DSE assessment systems, maintain records and escalate health and safety matters appropriately., Equity, diversity and inclusion are central to life at Hyde.     Proven experience in providing health and safety advice, assurance and operational support.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset and passion for promoting a positive health and safety culture.
  • The ability to carry out audits and inspections, support investigations and engage stakeholders effectively.
