Health And Safety Advisor

We are looking to recruit a SHE Advisor (Health & Safety) to join our fantastic team. This is a regional role that will see you cover Teesside. The role will see you provide regional support to the Divisional SHE Director in the implementation and supervision of the Company's Safety, Health and Environmental policy so as to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees and workers engaged on Company business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor, develop and implement SHE systems to ensure our standards, performance and compliance is of the highest orderProvide support and advice to the Region and represent Regional Management in discussions with employees and external organisations on safety, health & environmental (SHE) mattersSupport the development of Health & Safety management capability within the Region by improving the skills and knowledge of Miller personnelCarry out site visits and audits to ensure compliance with specified procedures and standards

REQUIREMENTS:Experience working in a similar role, ideally within the housebuilding sectorNEBOSH certification (or equivalent)Experience in carrying out audits, accident investigation and liaison with relevant statutory bodiesA natural leader possessing integrity, presence, drive, determination, natural enthusiasm
