Full Job Description

1Leisure is looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Casual Health & Fitness Instructors to join our friendly and busy leisure team.

This casual role is ideal for someone who is flexible and customer-focused, with a passion for health, fitness and helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their goals. Shifts will include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, based on service need.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the gym (Tone Zone), ensuring a safe, welcoming and motivating environment for all users. Duties will include:

Carrying out gym inductions and supporting customers to use equipment safely and effectively
Designing and delivering individual exercise programmes, taking account of customer needs and any medical conditions
Providing on-floor supervision and one-to-one support
Ensuring high standards of customer care, cleanliness and health & safety at all times
Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any faults

A minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or equivalent)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A confident, approachable and professional manner
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience working in a gym or leisure environment (desirable)

Flexibility is essential, and you must be physically able to carry out the duties of the role. An enhanced DBS check is required.
