We are a professional but friendly team that welcome new ideas and experience which contributes to being able to provide the highest standards of patient care., The Outpatient Department at Cromer Hospital is a busy unit, providing outpatient services to the people of North Norfolk and surrounding area. It covers a variety if specialities including urology, dermatology, Gastro, Gynae, Rheumatology, Cardiology & phlebotomy. Allies outpatients department encompasses both Outpatient Clinics, pre-assessment and Local Anaesthetic Minor Procedures for Ophthalmic patients. The department offers Cataract and Intravitreal Injection lists in their theatre and provides Outpatient appointments for Cataracts, Glaucoma, Medical Retinal and AMD. The Day procedure Unit is made up of Muriel Thoms day Procedure Unit, Allies Theatre and the North Norfolk Macmillan Centre. It has several LA (Local anesthetic) procedure rooms which is where minor surgery for Pain, Dermatology, Urology, Vascular and gynecological specialties take place, together with venesections and BCG treatments. This clinical work is supported by clinics which are either led by a specialist doctor or nurse with the support of the nursing team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to adapt to meet the needs of our service and able to support our trained staff with the above specialties. You should be able to work well as part of a team and be able to prioritize your own workload. The successful candidate will be expected to work in all areas of the department and be taught to use the specialized equipment. You will accurately and promptly carry out the instructions of the Registered Nurse who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care. Previous experience in one of these fields would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
