Health care support worker

The post holder provides skilled support in ophthalmic care, assisting with clinical procedures,patient assessments, and smooth clinic flow. The role blends hands-on patient care withspecialized eye-health tasks, working closely with nurses, ophthalmologists, andmultidisciplinary teams., The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary ophthalmology team to providehigh-quality, patient-centred care. They will carry out delegated clinical and non-clinicalduties, including ophthalmic-specific tasks such as visual acuity testing, instilling eye drops,and supporting diagnostic and treatment clinics. They will work under the supervision of aregistered practitioner and within Trust policies and procedures.
