Health care support worker

The job covers supporting the women of Oxfordshire attending the gynaecology services. This includes assisting doctors with investigations of the cervix, the uterus, the vulva and general pelvic examinations. The position includes maintaing the clinic environment, ensuring stock levels are maintained, cleaning the environment that is nursing responsibilities, reporting faults etc. Supporting both doctors and nurses to run our services as effectively and efficiently as possible., The job covers supporting the women of Oxfordshire attending the gynaecology services. The position includes maintaing the clinic environment, ensuring stock levels are maintained, cleaning the environment that is nursing responsibilities, reporting faults etc. Supporting both doctors and nurses to run our services as effectively and efficiently as possible. Setting up clinical trays for taking tissue samples, testing urine for pregnancy and infection. Chaperoning the clinician when they are carrying out an intimate examination, recording details on the electronic patient record and excalating any concerns you may have to the appropriate senior. Ensuring clinical areas are adequatley stocked to ensure efficient running of our clinics. Liaising with all members of the MDT to ensure the patient experience is a postivie one.

• has completed care certificate
