Health Care Support Worker

Role requirements:o Minimum NVQ Level 2 in health-related subject or Care Certificate issued by an employer

• o GCSE English Level 9-2 (A - E) or equivalento Minimum of 12 months experience of working in a health care setting
• The Care Certificate standards define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in health and social care. The standards were updated in March 2025 to align with sector developments and the introduction of the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification. There are now 16 standards which need to be competency assessed and signed off by an employer.
