Health Care Assistant (physical health)

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly and supportive teams on Beechwood Ward and Clarendon Ward at The Evington Centre, Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a physical healthcare setting, supporting patients who require sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation. What You'll Do: Working alongside experienced registered nurses and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll provide essential hands-on care and support to our patients, ensuring their dignity, comfort and wellbeing are at the heart of everything you do. Please note this is a 24-hour, 7-day service and the role includes a mixture of: Long days: 7:00am to 7:30pm Nights: 7:00pm to 7:30am Weekend and bank holiday working,
• Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
• Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
• Providing personal care to include washing, dressing and toileting / continence care.
• Accurately recording patient information.
• Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
  
  This includes level 2 qualification in functional skills Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
