Health Care Assistant (Mental Health)

As post holder, duties will include:

• To work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework.
• To maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
• To provide high standards of patient care.
• To work in accordance with the principles laid down by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies

Individuals should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a willingness to take on new challenges, Previous experience of working with mental health patients would be advantageous, we are also interested in hearing from individuals who have a special talent for being caring and compassionate and who would be able to go the extra mile to help our patients feel valued and cared for and at all times to treat them with dignity and respect.
