Health Care Assistant - Day Centre

You'll support people attending our day centre through personalised care, helping them stay independent, safe and included. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that works closely with colleagues and carers. Your role will help create a welcoming environment where people feel respected and valued. Every day, you'll help individuals enjoy meaningful activities and receive care that meets their needs and choices., What you'll do:

• Support people with personal care, mobility, eating and drinking
• Encourage independence while promoting dignity and respect
• Help people take part in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
• Communicate clearly with service users, carers and colleagues
• Keep accurate records and follow care plans and policies
  
  Experience or a qualification in adult health or social care, or a willingness to learn
• Caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting others
• Confidence working with people who may feel distressed or unwell
• Ability to work well in a team and manage your own tasks
• Basic IT skills and willingness to complete required training
