An exciting opportunity has arisen due to expansion of the team for a Band 4 Diana Childrens Specialist practitioner, Special Needs Education.

Monday to Friday, Term Time Only 08:30 15:30

The successful candidates will work as part of the Diana Childrens Community Service team based at Ash Field Academy special school.

To work as a member of the Diana Childrens Community Service providing education and healthcare support to children/young people with complex healthcare needs, including life limiting/life threatening conditions within the school setting.

Provide healthcare and educational support in accordance with the childs care plan/ EHCP/IEP/ statement which has been individually negotiated with the parents/carers/ SENCO Support the qualified nursing staff/ SENCO in reviewing each individual child's care.

This post will allow you to work within Ashfield School for pupils between the ages 4 and 19 with a range of special educational needs.

You will be working with highly committed staff, governors and parents, carers all are ensuring pupils achieve the very best possible learning outcomes.

Diana Childrens Community Service provide healthcare and emotional support to children/young people with complex healthcare needs, including life limiting/life threatening conditions in a variety of settings. Primary role of the specialist practitioner for schools worker is to provide support in the school setting based at Ash Field School.

The role provides health and educational support to designated pupils within the school.
