Full Job Description
Support the Community Learning Disability Service by assisting nurses to deliver person-centred care, implementing care plans, monitoring and reporting changes in physical or mental health, and contributing to care evaluation. Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, manage delegated workloads, maintain accurate records, follow policies and clinical guidance, escalate concerns appropriately, and ensure mandatory training compliance.
Senior Healthcare Assistants support adults with learning disabilities by delivering compassionate, high quality care alongside registered practitioners. They provide delegated clinical and therapeutic interventions, undertake observations, follow care plans, policies and procedures, and work within their competencies. They uphold dignity, privacy and confidentiality, support team members, and must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle, and obtain business insurance.
