Full Job Description
This is a hands-on, patient-facing clinical support role working closely with the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team to promote health, prevent illness, and support the ongoing management of patients across the practice. You will carry out a range of clinical tasks including patient health checks, observations, phlebotomy, urine testing, and ECG recording where trained, supporting both routine and long-term condition monitoring. The role also involves assisting with vaccination programmes, wound care, suture and staple removal where appropriate, and providing patients with health promotion advice to support self-care and wellbeing., We continuously innovate to improve patient care and staff experience. In this role, you will work closely with the healthcare team to support consistent ways of working and improve patient satisfaction. - Vaccinations: Evidence of Hepatitis B (x3), titre level and/or booster, and MMR and Varicella status required. Support is available for those who are undecided.
