Health Care Assistant

The role of a Healthcare Assistant at IC24 involves providing high-quality integrated urgent care, assisting the nursing team with clinical duties, and contributing to health promotion, infection control, and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a general practice or healthcare setting, strong IT literacy, and excellent communication skills., The Healthcare Assistant will undertake clinical activities such as ECGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and health checks. They will also administer vaccinations, provide first aid, support annual health promotion activities, process samples, maintain accurate patient records, monitor and maintain infection control standards, and manage stock rotation and ordering of medical supplies. The role requires effective communication with patients, carers, and colleagues, and adherence to practice policies and procedures.
