Full Job Description

· Provides first aid in emergencies and contacts emergency services when necessary
· Maintains student's Academy medical records through regular liaison with parents, Health Authorities and general practitioners
· Arranges routine medical checks
· Maintains medical stock and orders appropriate supplies
· Provides general medical advice on general hygiene matters
· Is fully conversant with current information on sexually transmitted infections and social drugs to make immediate referrals to the appropriate Vice Principal.
· Prepares routine correspondence
· Administrates dressings where needed
· Refers student's health problems to parents and other interrelated agencies where needed
· Offers basic hygiene solutions to problematic students
· Supervises student's self-administration of medication
· Reports to the responsible Vice Principal on matters relating to fighting bullying, students' safety and Child Protection.
· Liaises with our designated school nurse
