• A qualified teacher with QTS, NPQH and substantial experience of successful teaching and senior leadership in schools.


• A strong understanding of how children learn and how to secure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.


• Experience of school self-evaluation, development planning, curriculum leadership and using evidence and data to improve outcomes.


• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion, SEND, pupil wellbeing and the wider statutory responsibilities of school leadership.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work positively with pupils, staff, families, governance and external partners.


• The ability to set high expectations while creating a nurturing, respectful and inclusive environment.


• A commitment to reflective leadership, continuous improvement and the professional development of others.


• Sound organisational and resource-management skills, together with resilience, integrity and fairness.


• A commitment to uphold the school's Christian ethos and values throughout the school and wider community.
