Full Job Description

  • Lead on pastoral care, behaviour, and attendance for your year group
  • Provide targeted support and early intervention for vulnerable students
  • Work closely with families, external agencies, and staff to support student success
  • Monitor student progress, wellbeing, and engagement
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe school culture

    GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Safeguarding training (Level 2 or above; Level 3 desirable)
  • Strong experience in pastoral care, behaviour, or student support
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies

    Pay range: SCP 22-27 - £31,919.14 - £36,201.36 - FTE: £33,699.00 - £38,220.00 - 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, Financial and Lifestyle We offer a strong financial package including access to defined benefit pension schemes (LGPS or TPS), life cover at three times pensionable pay, and 31 days of annual leave for year-round employees.
