What You'll Lead As our Head of Technology, you will: Set the Vision

• Define and deliver a bold Technology Strategy aligned with our priorities.
• Shape a secure, scalable, cloud first technology landscape.
Drive Technical Excellence
• Oversee platforms, applications and system optimisation.
• Embed digital, data and technology considerations into major programmes-including transformation initiatives.
Provide Strategic Leadership
• Act as chief technical adviser to senior leaders, directors and elected members.
• Bring innovation into everyday practice, promoting emerging technologies and continuous improvement.
Strengthen Governance & Value
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policy and best practice.
• Lead financial planning, supplier management and value for money service delivery.
  
  You'll bring:
• Proven success in delivering organisation wide technology strategies.
• Expertise in cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data governance and agile practice.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing large budgets and complex programmes.
• Ability to co-design solutions with users and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to operate confidently at all levels.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation, service improvement and public value.
• Level 6 qualification in IT or equivalent senior experience required.
