They will also bring a proactive and innovative mindset, identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and digital capability across the organisation., The role exists to lead and manage the College's Student Records and Enrolment Validation processes, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of learner data across all provision. It is responsible for maintaining high-quality student records that meet funding rules, audit requirements and College policies, while supporting a positive and seamless learner journey. Role Responsibilities The post holder will be accountable for robust enrolment validation, termly Individual Learner Record (ILR) checks, completion of student records and the reconciliation of learner data in line with funding rules, audit requirements and College policies. The role ensures that student data fully supports the learner journey, funding compliance and high-quality and student experience, enabling the statutory returns to funding bodies are accurate, timely and auditable.
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality systems and services that enhance the student experience. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, resilient and highly organised, with the ability to lead and motivate teams in a complex educational environment. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement, building trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels.,
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent qualifications/experience
- Level 4 Management qualification (or willingness to work towards within 2 years)
- GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C (or equivalent) Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality services, performance improvement and organisational priorities.
- Significant experience of managing student records, enrolment of MIS functions within an FE or skills environment.
- Experience of managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams, including performance management.
- Experience of ensuring completion of student records and learner evidence to audit standards. Desirable Skills & Experience - (Optional)
- Knowledge and understanding of ILR specifications, requirements and returns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and statutory returns.
- Experience using systems such as ProSolution, ProAchieve, ProMonitor, 4Cast or similar management information systems.
