Further details about the role
The College is seeking to employ a well-qualified, experienced and motivational candidate to lead our Science Department . This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful department of 12 specialist teachers which has been a consistently popular subject amongst our pupils.
Science has a consistent record of outstanding results with both Attainment and Progress significantly above the national average. Progression into Sixth Form is good, with consistent uptake for A Level courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Interviews will take place as soon as is practicable after the closing date. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to prepare and deliver a 50 minute lesson followed by an interview. There will also be an opportunity to tour the school.
