Head of Radiology

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Radiology to join Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This full-time role is central to ensuring the effective operational and strategic management of radiology services across our sites, supporting high-quality patient care and the continued development of our imaging services. As Head of Radiology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our imaging services. Key responsibilities include: Operational & Strategic Leadership

• Ensuring effective day-to-day operational management of radiology services across the Trust.
• Providing strong personal and professional leadership across all radiology disciplines.
• Leading the strategic development of radiology services in line with Trust priorities.
People Management
• Managing the department's workforce, ensuring efficient utilisation of staff.
• Supporting staff development, performance, and wellbeing.
Financial & Resource Management
• Managing departmental budgets in accordance with Trust Standing Financial Instructions.
• Ensuring robust establishment control and efficient use of resources.
