As Head of Projects Delivery, you will bring professional project management expertise to lead the successful delivery of English Heritage's projects, ensuring high standards of quality, cost control, and timelines across a diverse portfolio spanning Conservation, Information Technology, Visitor Experience, and Organisational Change.
You will oversee a team of Senior Project Managers, embedding best practice project management and strengthening capability across the organisation. You will ensure that risks and issues are proactively managed and that project delivery is consistent, transparent, and aligned with organisational priorities.

- Support the organisation to deliver a complex and varied programme of work.
To be considered as Head of Projects Delivery, you'll need
We are looking for a Head of Projects Delivery to join our team on a permanent, full time basis, working 36 hours per week. The successful candidate must be a qualified Project Management Professional and bring strong leadership and delivery expertise to the role., Extensive experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects across Conservation, Information Technology, Visitor Experience, and Organisational Change.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high performing teams.
- Expertise in applying structured project management frameworks and best practice.
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and delivery performance at scale.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders.

Salary from £74,728, depending on skills, experience, and location.
