Full Job Description
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the department, driving excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum development, and student outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review an ambitious and inclusive curriculum that meets statutory requirements and supports the needs of all learners.
- Monitor student progress and attainment across the department, using data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Produce and present departmental performance reports, providing clear analysis and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent - Degree in subject specialism or related subject
- Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements
- Knowledge of current education legislation, Ofsted framework and best practice
