Full Job Description

You'll own InPost UK's host-partner portfolio: the landlords, retailers, transport operators and property owners who give our lockers their locations. It's a big job with a simple aim. Turn partner relationships into a dense, convenient, high-utilisation network that powers our customer proposition and our delivery economics. Get it right and roll-out flies, major partners feel looked after, terms stay consistent and the best sites are ours. Get it wrong and roll-out stalls and competitors move in. You'll have real ownership. Sign deals within agreed commercial limits, choose which partners and sites to go after, and hire and set objectives for your team What you'll be doing:

  • Set the strategy. Define the partner segments we target (grocery, convenience, forecourts, transport hubs, local authorities, property owners) and the priority locations, in line with the UK roll-out plan.
  • Own the big relationships. Look after our strategic national and regional host partners from first approach to renewal. You're the senior escalation point when things get tricky.
  • Negotiate the deals. Agree commercial terms, from rent and licence length to exclusivity, break and relocation rights. Balance site quality, cost per locker and expected utilisation.
  • Get sites live. Work with Network Deployment, Planning and Operations so agreed sites go from signed deal to live InPost Locker on time.
  • Keep sites performing. Track utilisation, availability, access hours and customer feedback. Act on underperformers by relocating, upgrading, extending or exiting.
  • Build new models. Develop new partnership models and propositions, including local authority programmes and income-generating ideas.
  • Lead your team. Build, lead and develop a high-performing sales and partnerships team, with clear targets and ways of working. You'll have four direct reports, within a wider team of 18.
  • Keep the numbers honest. Make sure pipeline, forecast and partner-terms data is accurate in CRM and BI, and report performance and risks to senior leadership.

We're looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We're looking for people with drive and natural curiosity - who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.
  • Experience in parcel, logistics, last-mile, locker or PUDO networks, or large-scale roll-out in retail, telecoms or infrastructure.
  • Commercial leadership experience, with a proven record of negotiating and managing senior commercial partnership, property or retail-estate agreements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including unit economics, business cases and pricing or rent models.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Working knowledge of licence structures and contractual risk.
  • Data literacy. You're confident using BI tools (such as Power BI) and CRM to track pipeline and performance.
  • Existing relationships with major UK retail, convenience or property groups.
  • Knowledge of local authority processes.
  • A record of opening new commercial channels or sectors.

At InPost we hire awesome people who aren't afraid to bring ideas to the table, to make mistakes, and challenge the norm!
