Head of Information Management

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Company-wide Information Management (IM) delivery and build IM capability for the UK organisation to meet marquee customer needs. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring robust 3D model management and secure data exchange through a Common Data Environment (CDE). You'll shape governance around PIM/BIM, EIR, and BEP, while maintaining high safety and security standards. The position offers strategic influence across projects and a focus on data-driven project delivery. Pay / Benefits

• Lead IM delivery and capability-building across multi-disciplines Oversee federated 3D models for consistency across disciplines Attend design and project meetings to advise on information management Coordinate 3D model clashes and produce actionable reports Establish and manage the CDE with reliable exchange between stakeholders Define PIM information structures aligned to project/client needs Validate received information against EIR/BEP and address non-conformances Maintain robust record-keeping, archiving and audit trails for PIM Support development and implementation of PIP and AIP Ensure safety standards and project targets are met Assist legal and commercial teams in bid preparations with BIM/3D model requirements Maximise data-exchange value through efficient workflows and early clash detection Tasks ISO 19650 expertise CDE implementation and ProjectWise administration Proficiency with BIM tools: Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, Solibri, DiRoots Strong Design Management experience Experience with design reporting and project performance communication Excellent report writing and documentation Proven track record of delivering on time, quality, and budget Ability to grasp technical, behavioural and contextual aspects of complex projects Knowledge of data security requirements in MOD/ONR environments Understanding of Export Control and UK Government Security Classifications Awareness of UK GDPR and data governance concepts Contractual understanding of data retention and information governance Key requirements
