Head of Geography

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and inspirational Head of Geography to lead our Geography department and inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the world around them.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader who is confident in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that inspires and challenges learners. You will plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements, promote critical thinking, and enable students to develop a strong understanding of geographical concepts, processes and the wider world.

As Head of Geography, you will provide strong leadership and vision for the department, supporting colleagues to deliver consistently high standards of teaching and learning. You will foster a culture where students are curious about the world, confident in asking questions, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the department, develop an ambitious and inspiring curriculum, raise student achievement, and make a significant contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
