Full Job Description
You will:o Lead and develop the Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2.14+) platform.o Ensure financial system integrity, audit compliance and data quality.o Oversee Qlik/BI/XML reporting for Divisional and Board-level decision-making.o Manage system interfaces, disaster recovery and infrastructure.o Lead supplier relationships and SLAso Hold full budget responsibility (~£2.5m)o Drive continuous service improvement.o Lead and develop a specialist system teamWe are looking for a technically credible and strategically focused leader with: o Extensive Oracle Financials expertiseo Strong financial reporting and BI capabilityo Proven delivery of large-scale system upgrades or transformationo Experience managing complex stakeholders and external suppliers.o Strong governance and audit backgroundo Ability to operate confidently at senior executive level. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience within a customer facing/business environment.
- Oracle Core Financial Courses
- ECDL or Equivalent, Highly competent in one or more of the Oracle financial reporting tools -BI/XML/Qlik Sense
- Highly experienced in call to ticket resolution utilising a help-desk escalation platform
- Experience of working under pressure to strict deadlines and prioritising workload
- Experience in communicating information using a variety of methods, i.e., verbal, written, graphic presentation to Stack Holders and Useers, Experienced or qualified in management/financial accounting theories. AAT/ACCA/CIMA, any stage a plus., Extensive knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2.14 + System Administration Functions
- Extensive knowledge of Qlik Sense reporting tool & BI Reporting
- An understanding of the full project lifecycle from pre-project activities through to closure and post project review
- Knowledge of implementing information reporting and data quality solutions using Finance data.
- Knowledge of Helpdesk Procedures, Outstanding organisational skills, in particular communicating and monitoring key issues through full life cycle.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to do so at all levels.
- Working in a highly pressured environment and the ability to prioritise in such.
- Highly competent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve a range of problems, e.g. Oracle system errors, bugs, etc.
- Delivery of Oracle functional 12.2.14+ training to all levels.
- Ability to lead Business Analyst's in all aspects of that predefined role.
- Ability to train the Business Analysts in report writing tools and how to analyse the users' requirements.
- Working flexibly and under pressure, adapting roadmaps and plans as necessary to cope with changing priorities or new information, for both team and user needs.
- Ability to influence people at all levels of the business.
- Decision-making skills including the ability to delegate and make recommendations based on an analysis of options, Advanced problem solving through known methodologies.
- Proven ability to establish and retain effective working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders, Motivated and enthusiastic
