As Head of Faculty of Technology, you would be responsible for leading a team of 8 teachers and 2 technicians. Our Technology curriculum builds on Key Stage 2 and develops through to Level 3 courses in Post 16. Our KS3 students experience all specialist areas targeting progressive design and make skills through a carousel of Food, Electronics, Resistant Materials and Engineering activities and design briefs. At Key Stage 4 students can choose to study from a range of Level 2 qualifications including Engineering Manufacture, Engineering Design, and Hospitality and Catering. At KS5, we have Level 3 BTEC Engineering, a pathway to Level 3 Hair, and a Level 2 Hospitality and Catering offer. The faculty is well resourced with an ICT design suite, laser cutters, CNC routers, metal working lathes, fully equipped and working motor vehicle garage, hair and beauty salons and high specification food rooms., Northern Leaders Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in all its schools and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
