Rudheath Senior Academy is seeking to appoint an ambitious, passionate and highly effective Head of Humanities Faculty to lead and develop our Humanities provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner with strong leadership skills to drive excellence across History, Geography and Religious Education, ensuring that all students receive a high-quality and inspiring education. We are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to raising aspirations, securing strong outcomes and providing exceptional learning experiences for every student. As the Head of Faculty: Humanities at Rudheath Senior Academy, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and management of the Humanities Department.
- Ensure the delivery of an engaging and rigorous curriculum that inspires all learners.
- Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Drive outstanding teaching and learning practices to ensure excellent student outcomes.
- Foster a culture of high expectations, creativity, and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives.
