The Head of Economic and Social Analysis is an analytical professional, within the Policy Directorate, who is responsible for taking ownership analysis that supports the DVSA's policy and operational delivery work. Find out more about what it's like working at Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency - Department for Transport Careers The role holder will shape and influence work on a range of high-profile issues, including driving tests, vehicle roadworthiness (e.g. through the MOT scheme), autonomous vehicles and other aspects of road safety and security which are rapidly evolving. They will be responsible for building and leading a community of badged analytical professionals and be supported by the sponsorship team in the Department of Transport and its wider analytical community. The role holder will provide influence amongst the leadership team by cutting across a breadth of topics, providing cutting-edge insights and building analytical capability in the organisation.
