Pay Scale - MPS / UPS plus TLR 2A
Date required - September 2026
Brayton Academy, a proud member of Resilience Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated and inspiring teacher of Design and Technology. We are looking for candidates whose expertise is in resistant materials or Food Technology. Joining our highly effective and committed department, the successful candidate will be an high quality teacher, have the skills to motivate and engage students and will have a relentless ambition to enrich the lives and learning experiences of our students.
The academy has had a huge amount of success in driving up educational standards over the last five years and you would be joining an exceptional academy during a period of growth. We are committed to a broad and balanced curriculum and see our creatives arts subjects as an important part of our growth. We are also investing in our teaching facilities to ensure that our facilities match our ambitions for the Academy.
Brayton Academy was awarded 'Outstanding in all areas' at the OFSTED inspection in June 2019 and again in 2024. Pupils' exemplary behaviour and attitudes to learning have consistently been highlighted as a strength, as has our ongoing commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development. You will be supported by a highly visible Leadership Team in a continuous drive to improve the life chances of our students.
We are part of The Resilience Multi Academy Trust which has a reputation for high expectations for all, an innovative curriculum and excellent staff/student relationships. We believe that traditional values of discipline and respect are sacrosanct.
