to lead Drama across the secondary phase while overseeing the pastoral care and personal development of our KS3 students.Drama plays a vital role in enhancing students' creativity, confidence, and communication skills. We need a leader who can craft an ambitious curriculum and a vibrant performance program, ensuring every student has the chance to shine.The successful candidate will also guide our KS3 Form Tutors, build strong partnerships with families, and help students develop the habits and relationships necessary for success. This role is perfect for an experienced middle leader or an outstanding teacher ready to embrace both subject and pastoral leadership.Key Responsibilities Champion excellence in Drama, inspiring outstanding teaching and student achievement. Design and deliver an ambitious, inclusive Drama curriculum that nurtures creativity and talent. Plan and lead whole-school productions and performances that unite our school community. Oversee pastoral care, behavior,
attendance, and personal development for Years 7-9, ensuring every student thrives. Support and develop KS3 Form Tutors, delivering impactful weekly assemblies. Guide students through key educational transitions, including GCSE options advice. Coach and develop colleagues, sharing best practices to contribute to whole-school improvement.About You Passionate about Drama, inspiring a love for performance and creativity in young people. An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations, committed to helping every student achieve their potential.
