Salary: £55,109 - £58,132. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.
Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per Week: 1.0 FTE | Location: Pendleton Sixth Form College, Dronfield Road, M6 7FR
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team at Pendleton College
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a large department that includes A level Psychology, Sociology, Health and Social Care, Criminology, English, Media and sport. They will be responsible for the quality of teaching, progress and achievement of all students in years 12 and 13. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching A level and be able to demonstrate that they are an outstanding classroom practitioner, and able to lead by example. Additionally, there is an expectation that staff will contribute to enrichment for students, through organising guest speakers and trips.
