Head of Consumer Lending

Product & Commercial Director, the Head of Consumer Lending must possess deep expertise in consumer lending, a strong understanding of credit risk, and a passion for delivering innovative lending solutions that align with the bank's overall mission and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Consumer lending business, aligning the company's long-term vision and profit targets Monitor business trends, customer preferences and regulatory changes to adapt and evolve the product offering Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of all consumer lending products, from ideation and pricing to launch and ongoing management Set and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the personal loans business and any other consumer lending products in the future Lead, inspire and develop a high performing team Champion a digital first approach, ensuring consumer lending journeys are frictionless, transparent, and accessible across

all channels. Skills & Attributes Prior experience in consumer lending, retail banking, or financial services, ideally with experience of operating within a senior leadership role In-depth knowledge of the personal loans market, credit risk principles, customer segmentation and regulatory frameworks Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, and profitability analysis Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Could this be you?
