Full Job Description
This is an exciting senior role for an ambitious communications professional who thrives on making a difference. Line managing a Marketing and Communications Officer, you will oversee content and campaigns, marketing, digital engagement and media activity for our Trust and schools. We are a small team and there is a hands-on element to this role as well as a strategic one.
We're looking for an experienced communicator with a proven track record of creating and delivering high-impact communications and media campaigns, ideally in the education or non-profit sector. You will be professional, organised and approachable, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders within and outside the Trust.
This role is hybrid, with one day working in our head office in North London, and regular travel to schools. We welcome conversations about flexible working.
Ivy Learning Trust is a group of 16 primary schools in Enfield and Hertfordshire dedicated to giving children the best possible education. At Ivy, we make it easier to make a difference: easier to learn, easier to teach and easier to lead.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
Online searches will be carried out on shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence checks usually prior to interview.
All applications must be submitted electronically via My New Term (CVs will not be accepted).
Employment at Ivy Learning Trust is subject to pre-employment checks:
- Verification of identity
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate, including barred list information for those engaging in regulated activity
- Social Media Check
- Section 128 check (prohibition from management) for applicable roles
