Full Job Description

The Head of Clinical Services will provide strong, compassionate leadership and operational oversight of the MHST portfolio across Hampshire and the IOW. Ensuring the development of the service is clinically led and responsive to the needs of children and young people, with governance and performance that is aligned with the national protocol. The role will ensure the maintenance of the excellent practice and outcomes of our currently existing teams, whilst working collaboratively with our ICB and system partners to mobilise 17 new teams over the next three years. To achieve this, we are seeking to recruit a values based leader in line with the Trusts CARE values (compassion, accountability, respect and excellence) with experience of successfully leading in large organisations and through periods of change., This is a key role in providing strong and visible leadership within the CAMHS subdivision, of the Children & Families Division and, as part of the CAMHS senior leadership team, will work to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe care.

Be accountable for the operational delivery of clinical services across the CAMHS subdivision. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, and under the supervision of the Associate Director, managing the associated integrated clinical, operational, staffing, governance and financial performance.

Support the Associate Director(s) and Associate Clinical Director to translate the vision of integrated management and governance into safe, effective and efficient service delivery. Using their leadership skills, they will be a visible, accessible and professional presence, providing leadership and supervision.

Lead in new ways of working and change across the service, and with partners, will ensure the services can deliver the care our children, young people and families need and want. This will include adapting to the changing requirements emerging over time and supporting changes to both the service delivery model and staffing structures.

Have a close working relationship with the Associate Director, particularly with regards to the delivery of integration and transformation plans. They will also work closely with the Associate Clinical Director and the Head of Quality Governance for clinical safety and effectiveness across CAMHS

£66,582 to £77,368 a year Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata
