The role is based at Snape Maltings but some travel and support to other locations within Suffolk will also be required. We are open to supporting applicants with flexible working patterns.

We're looking for an experienced arts manager who has extensive knowledge of working with and for children, families and young people at a strategic level, and in particular in music education. You will have demonstrable people management experience and will be excited about leading a team through a time of change, with a keen interest in internal & external partnership building to positively impact the greatest number of children, families and young people possible.

Salary: £45,000 FTE

It's a hugely exciting time to join our organisation, and in particular the Children, Families and Young People strand of work, which is being re-launched in September following on from a Capital Project at Snape Maltings. Our vision for the remodeled Britten Pears Building is that of a bustling hub for music education in our region, and one that is enhanced further by the close connection and collaborative working with the wider Music Programme at Britten Pears Arts - including our work in Artist Development, Performance, Later Life Programmes as well as Knowledge Exchange & Professional Learning. We're so excited to be opening our doors to even greater numbers of Children, Families and Young People, to remove barriers to access and to support everyone in their musical journey.
