Exclusive Opportunity | Head of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) | International Bank | London
Ready to build rather than inherit? I'm exclusively partnering with an international bank to appoint a Head of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) into a brand-new leadership role. Opportunities like this are rare. This isn't about stepping into an established function—it's about shaping one. You'll have the autonomy to influence the CDD strategy, enhance frameworks, and leave your mark across both Corporate Banking and Private Banking within a respected international bank.
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £100,000-£110,000 + Excellent Benefits
Role Overview
As the newly appointed Head of CDD, you'll take ownership of the Customer Due Diligence function, leading strategy, governance, and operational oversight while working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the bank continues to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end CDD function across Corporate and Private Banking.
- Developing and enhancing CDD policies, procedures, and governance.
- Acting as the senior SME for CDD, KYC, and AML requirements.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and strong controls.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the CDD team.
What we're looking for:
- Proven leadership experience within CDD, KYC, or Financial Crime.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate and Private Banking customer due diligence.
- Excellent understanding of UK AML regulations and the wider regulatory landscape.
- A strategic leader who enjoys driving change and influencing senior stakeholders.
Why this role stands out:
- Exclusive mandate—this opportunity is being managed solely by me.
- Brand-new Head of CDD position with genuine scope to shape the function.
- International banking environment with significant visibility and influence.
- Broad remit spanning both Corporate and Private Banking.
- Hybrid working.
- Competitive salary of £100,000-£110,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
If you're ready for a role where you can build, influence, and make a lasting impact, I'd love to speak with you. Apply directly or message me for a confidential discussion.
